Crochet In A day Blog Hop

How It Works

The Crochet In A Day Blog Hop will run from February 1 – February 28, 2023

Each day a new design will be featured. The PDF copy of the featured design each day will be FREE for 24 hours from 6:00AM PST to 6:00AM PST.

Each day I’ll be sharing a photo of the pattern, along with the coupon code and the link to the designer’s blog post about the pattern or their Ravelry page or blog sales page. You’ll scroll down on this page until you see today’s pattern. If you’re directed to their blog post, they’ll have a button within their blog post that says “Click here to download.” That will take you to the Ravelry page or their sales page for the pattern, and then you can use the coupon code in your cart to get it for FREE!

Here is what the button looks like that you will find on the designers page:

This is an example NOT an actual button. It will not take you to a download.

The Blog Hop is set up like a daily scavenger hunt! This is a great way to learn about different designers and crochet bloggers! By visiting each of our blogs, it helps us gain exposure, generate page views, and ultimately helps us continue to bring you amazing free patterns and content! We love sharing freebies with you, and each visit to a designers page is showing support for our fabulous designers and crochet community!

Wilhelmina beanie is cute; I am adding it to the patterns-to-try list.

Looking forward to Crochet in a day blog-hop. I always enjoy the variety that comes with collaborative efforts.

I’m trying to download day 27 during the correct time period and wanted to let you know the discount code isn’t working for me. It says invalid code.

I’ve enjoyed being able to download the other projects and look forward to being able to crochet them when I don’t have a WIP. Thank you for these!

      • Ashley

        Hello,

The code should be working, I just tried it. Make sure there are no typos and then trying logging out of Ravelry then back in. HTH

  • Leslie

The website, https://www.throughtheloopyc.com/28-crochet-in-a-day-patterns/Ambassador Crochet, has a blog hop going on that says:

“Make this easy, warm, super chunky throw in no time! You’ll be cozy in front of the fire before you know it.

Click HERE to get your free PDF copy

Today’s pattern is a direct download, just follow the steps on Ambassador Crochet’s page. No code needed!”

If the blog hop says it is a free PDF copy, why does Ambassador Crochet’s website say ” The downloadable ad-free PDF is available for purchase in my shops:

    ETSY
    RAVELRY
    LOVE CRAFTS?”

This is not the first time I have tried to download a so-called free PDF from this blog hop and found it was not, in fact, free.

    • Ashley

      Hello,
Yes, when not part of the blog hop the pattern will have a paid PDF only. However for today you can get it for free BUT you have to click the branded blog hop button to get it. Only that specific button will get you the free PDF. Today’s, by Ambassador Crochet, is an instant download so you don’t need a code. Once you hit the blog hop Download button it instantly downloads to your computer/device.
There is a sample photo of the correct button to use in the beginning of this post for your reference.

Some days that button may take you to Ravelry where you need to use the coupon code, but each day will specify the type of download it will be.

      Hope that helps,
      Ashley

  • Kristi

Just to let you know: the code for the keychain on day 26 isn’t working. It says the code is expired and it is mid afternoon. Hopefully you can get it fixed? Thanks!

  • Jill

Thank you so much for hosting this blog hop! Thank you also to all the pattern contributors. I look forward to making them!
