A quick funny backstory; the ight I finished working up the last stitch of my final version of this blanket I told my husband it’s so cute and I have no one to gift it too?!
No lie, the very next day I found out I was going to be an auntie again! This soft and snuggly blanket will be perfect for my Niece who is due is September!

Can You Crochet A Baby Blanket With Chunky Yarn?
Yes! Of course! Chunky yarn makes gorgeous baby blankets, especially for those littles joining us in the Fall and Winter months! Chunky Baby blankets can also be used for lapghans and snugglers as baby grows too!
Textured Blanket Pattern
The Willowmere Chunky Crochet Baby blanket has just a touch of texture to keep it fun and unique while still being functional.
The pattern is worked back and forth in rows using an easy row repeat, making a great meditative pattern. The Crossed Double Crochet stitches give it the delicate texture and keep the pattern fun and fast-moving.
I chose to use *Lion Brand Scarfie Yarn because it so soft and snuggly and has beautiful colour options!
