The Half Double Crochet Slip Stitch can be done with almost any yarn or hook, so feel free to use whatever you have!
Half Double Crochet Slip Stitch (hdcslst)
The Half Double Crochet Slip Stitch is an easy 1 row row repeat. You can use any yarn or hook size you’d like.
The trick to this stitch is to be carful to maintain loose tension. Crocheting too tight may make it difficult to insert your hook.
Your starting chain can be multiples of any number.
Making your Half Double Crochet Slip Stitch in the back loop only is another variation that gives a different and more ribbed texture.
Below you will find the written steps, followed by the step-by-step photo tutorial.
