Little Loves Preemie Hat – FREE Pattern

Sharing is caring!

I am blessed with 5 beautiful babies I have birthed and 2 amazing step-children have raised for pretty much their whole life. Now, none of my babies were preemies, but my third child just missed the cut off born at 37 weeks exactly. He was tiny bugger weighing in at 5lbs 7oz. When I was asked to be part of the Preemie Challenge I knew I had to take part as babies have been a BIG part of my adult life. Have I ever told you I also have 22 nieces and nephews?!?! The Little Loves Preemie Hat was designed with the all these babies in my mind and how much each of them mean to me!

Extra Cozy Little Loves

I decided to add the earflaps to the Little Loves Preemie Hat for that bit of extra warmth and protection. I did some research before designing and some of the top requested preemie hats were ones with ear flaps. So I decided this was the way I wanted go. Also, I loved the earflap hats when my babies were little!

If you do not want the earflaps added that’s ok! I’ve included directions for that as well!
