Madsen Mittens – Free Crochet Pattern
I did it! I finally sat down and made myself something! Miraculous right!?! I have been wanting some new mitts for awhile and I just adore the softness of Hygge yarn, so it seemed like a perfect fit! Since I love them so much, I just had to share the pattern with you…… and maybe you’ll make some Madsen Mittens for yourself too!

Warmth and Texture
The Madsen Mittens are designed to be warm and cozy and on the bulky side.
The pattern is worked back and forth in rows for the cuff, and in rounds for the hand. The cuff is made longer so it can be folded up or not to fit under a jacket, and no get a ‘glove draft’.
I chose to use *Red Heart Hygge yarn in Sterling and Cloud. Hygge yarn is so unbelievably soft, it’s perfect for some cozy mittens!
