Hold The Cold Freezie Cozy
My kiddos, well, and my husband, just love freezies. I was, however, getting frusterated at the amount of paper towels we were going through to keep their hands warm. Ok, husband doesn’t actually do that though. Anyway, I decided last year to whip up some of these awesome Hold The Cold Freezie Cozy that can be reused!

Hold The Cold
When I was getting ready to send this pattern out to my amazing testers, I was having trouuble coming up with a name for it. Since it’s another pattern that uses one of my fave stitches, the linked HDC, I was thinking of the ‘linked cozy’, but it wasn’t cutting it. So I just asked everyone at home and my 10 year old comes back, almost instantly I might add, and says “Hold The Cold”. Genious!
Lesson learned: rely on the kids creativity when stuck!
Two Ways
When I was designing these, I started with the solid bottom version, but my youngest was having trouble with them with the really tall freezies. I went back and come up with the ‘moveable’ version for him. I have found the younger kids like htese ones and the kids that are older like the ones with the bottom.

My testers had a great time with these ones! They all loves how quick they work up and they are a great stash buster!
